Meetings and deadlines

The CEIm Fundación Jiménez Díaz, accredited as a Drug Research Ethics Committee on January 11, 2018, and reaccredited on February 18, 2021, is committed to meeting the deadlines established in the "Memorandum of Collaboration and Information Exchange between the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Healthcare Products and the Drug Research Ethics Committees", both in the evaluation of new clinical trials and in the evaluation of relevant modifications requested, regardless of the date on which these requests are received.
The request for evaluation of any type of research study may be made at any date, at the convenience of the applicant. Once the complete documentation necessary for the evaluation has been received, the study will be included in the corresponding agenda according to the following rules:
1. For clinical drug trials, deadlines will be those indicated by the Regulatory Agencies, as established in the corresponding regulations.
2. For the rest of the studies, the deadline for receiving documentation is 12 days prior to the corresponding meeting, provided that the maximum number of studies established for evaluation at each meeting is not exceeded.
The CEIm FJD meets twice a month, on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. The meeting dates and deadlines for receiving documentation are shown in the attached table. The August and December meetings may be subject to change due to the quorum required for the meetings.
