Since 2017, the IIS-FJD has had a Scientific Integrity Committee whose mission is to support the quality of research, contribute to preserving its integrity and ensure the monitoring of Good Research Practices, as well as to address queries and arbitrate in conflicts that may arise in this area. This committee is made up of 7 members, 6 of whom are part of the IIS-FJD, with the following profiles:

  • The person who is the head of the Technical Secretary of the CEIC or a qualified person delegated by them.
  • A physician with healthcare activity and clinical researcher (preferably a member of the CEIC)
  • A researcher from one of the other centers that make up the IIS-FJD (HURJC, HIE, HGV)
  • One basic researcher (preferably a member of the Research Committee)
  • A member of the Healthcare Ethics Committee
  • A professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
  • A person from outside of the institution who is an expert in the area
