Activity summary

The research activity of the General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery and Others group is developed along different lines related to the different fields of Surgery, and is reflected in numerous publications indexed in international literature. The objective of its activity is, among others, to contribute to a better understanding, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of thoracic neoplasms, as well as to transfer these improvements to clinical practice; and the development of surgical techniques for the improvement of treatments and results.

All the scientific activity of the General Surgery, Thoracic, Neurosurgery and Others group is directly oriented to the benefit of the patient and society.
