Activity summary

Contribute to the provision of personalised healthcare through Epidemiology and Public Health strategies. Its activities are geared towards Epidemiology, Health Protection and Promotion, Disease Prevention and the improvement of individual and collective health, Patient Safety and the improvement of Healthcare Quality. It also promotes activities related to research ethics, the principles of scientific integrity and good research practices. The members of the group participate in various teaching activities (undergraduate and graduate).


Contributions to society

The Preventive Medicine-Public Health and Primary Care group has a profile clearly geared towards improving care for society by reducing risks in medical care, improving resource use and contributing to evidence-based care, all with the ultimate goal of providing better care for patients and the community. In addition, it carries out training and dissemination activities related to the principles of research ethics, scientific integrity, and good research practices, with the aim of guaranteeing quality, reproducible scientific activity, with respect for the rights of research participants and the trust of society.
